THE SHOW
"Nip/Tuck" an FX cable TV show which airs every Tuesday 10pm/EST annually every Fall season. Winner of the 2005 Golden Globe for Best TV Drama series, "Nip/Tuck" is a show that deals with sex and beauty, but also has soul, bad to the bone and crazy as hell! It's a fun rollcoaster ride with ups and downs, gore and bluntness about life...
Specifically, the show is about the life of two men who are partners together in a surgery business McNamara/Troy. Both are plastic surgeons, both are men in their prime 40s and figuring out the balance between work and family.
"Tell us what you don't like about yourself."
Viewer discretion advisory: TV-MA "Nip/Tuck" is a show dealing with adult situations, so all that sex and violence and bloody hell may not be appropriate for kids under age 17. Heck...if you cannot stand looking at 30 seconds of surgery or lotsa naked butts, you might want to turn away!!!
Other bits & pieces about "Nip/Tuck", it's in the drama genre created by The Shephard/Robin Company in association with Warner Brothers TV, Inc. "Nip/Tuck" owns all its soul to creator Ryan Murphy.
Ryan Murphy aka, god of "Nip/Tuck", AHA j/k....he's the creator and executive producer, writer and director of many episodes too! He used to be a journalist, then headed onto screenwriting and finally hit it big with WB's "Popular" and "Nip/Tuck." Currently he's working on a movie "Running with Scissors" to be released in 2006...
