How To Finally End The Series

Julia regains her memory and remembers who shoots her, Eden is arrested and put away for a long, long time.
Sean barely survives the attack (if it is a dream), and he and Julia reunite and decide that Hollywood is not for them, Sean leaves and returns to Florida to practice on his own, remarrying Julia and starting practice in the old McNamara/Troy office.
Christian and Kimber rekindle their romance and decide that it's finally time to be married. Matt is the best man at the wedding, Matt's half sister is there too as the flower girl. Wilbur is the ring bearer.
Liz and Rosie O'Donnel's character hook up and become life partners and move to Florida to work with Sean.
Ava returns from Europe and rekindles her flame with Matt.
Quentin and Kit are shown in a hospital ward dying of AIDS they contracted from Gina when she was one of the Carver's victims.
In the final scene of the final show, Sean is in surgery and Christian enters the operating room in full garb, and starts to assist Sean during surgery. The song playing? “Paint It Black”...the first song that played in the first episode during surgery.
During the final scene we see a montage of happy moments from the previous 5 seasons of Nip/Tuck. As the song ends, Sean looks up and sees Escobar across the room smiling at him. Escobar says "I knew you had it in you Sean...way to go.."...and then he fades away.
Fade to black, end of Nip/Tuck.
Thoughts?

Not bad, i would like to see julia regain memory and get eden caught, i dont have a doubt seans attack was a dream.... colleen is put away or killed ....
the only flaw i see is
Quentin and Kit are shown in a hospital ward dying of AIDS they contracted from Gina when she was one of the Carver's victims.
they used a dildo (fake penis) when they were with the carver victems. |

Felipe, they did use a dildo, but Gina was cut by Quentin, remember? The blood could have gotten on them some way and infected them. |

If Julia survives S6, I can see her and Christain being together in the end of the series. Sorta like Peter Burns and Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place - two on/off lovers finally make it official.

Frankly I don't want Christian and Julia to make it: We saw exactly the issues they will have: Christian is not ready to be faithful, even for 1 week. He is not willing to go through the hard work of a relationship - having a home, being a father. Julia has to move away from these relationships with Sean/Christian where she is the dependent one they take care of. I really don't see a huge future with Ollie so she needs to find a future with someone else - male or female - where she can assert herself and have her own identity, not just sit in the kitchen and nag about having an unfulfilled life. Them being together would be a huge step backwards for both. |

I don't know about Nip/Tuck being fantasy, per se. It's now that (x-file'ish) but it was supposed to be about 2 plastic surgeons and their relationship. <shrug> |

Neither do I, nor Sean and Julia. If they're going to end up in long-term relationships with women, I don't think either one has encountered the one yet. (Well, I think Sean did with Megan, but she's dead.) As for Julia, I'm not sure she's ever going to be happy with a man, and unfortunately, I think Ollie is going to stay loyal to her homicidal bad seed daughter. And truthfully, I would hate to see another accelerated romance I couldn't buy into, like the whole Christian/Michelle thing, and 8 episodes isn't really a lot to build a believable forever romance, unless the pair are super-compatible with believable and obvious chemistry, plus a connection that runs deeper on an emotional level. I believed the Sean/Megan romance right from the start. |

You know the weird thing is, it is almost as if Ryan expected what happened at the end of season 4 to be the end of the series - at very least the go back to the swamp with the alligator and then move on to California. From all I read, Ryan did not know if he would be continuing or what the fate of the show would be until quite late, so that episode could easily have been turned into the series finale.
He may have some brilliant idea in mind for the ending but given his love for repeating patterns and symbols, I would guess that the most logical ending could be found in some element from the pilot episode, a reach back to the beginning.
However, if Ryan plans to leave and they DO decide to continue the show for another year or two, who can say whether the new person will have that same vision or insist on carrying out Ryan's vision for the ending. I do know that one thing would NOT be a good ending: Sean being dead now. Even if they have 8 episodes left to go, the last shot should definately be of the two boys working in some way. Not Christian, the new hero, avenging Sean's death. That is a completely different show. |

Killing off Sean or Christian now, or at the final episode of the series, would be an awful way to end it. And if Sean's dead at this point, who cares if there are more episodes? It won't be Nip/Tuck anymore. For the record, while Sean is my favorite, I would feel the same way about killing off Christian (I love him, too!). The show is about them, and they are a matched set. With one of them gone, it would just be... Nip/ |

I think it'd be an interesting angle in Season 6 to bring back the character of Rachel Bin Natan, who essentially "kissed off" Matt this past season, by having either Sean or Christian (or both) perform some additional plastic surgery on her (for whatever reason; maybe she's getting married for the first time and just wants to look "normal" again, let alone beautiful). The surgery/ies is/are phenomenally, over-the-top successful, and the actual actress, Natalie Portman, is brought in to portray the recreated Bin Natan, who had once compared her former beauty to the actresses'. News of this amazing transformation/re-creation spreads like wildfire all over Hollywood, and is the catalyst for S & C's opening of satellite offices all over the globe. Not to mention, a storyline that could pull Matt away from his half-sister (or whichever "dysfunctional-Chick-of-the-Month" he happens to be shacking up with at the time). |

I think Christian will marry Darlene I mean did you see the end of season 5!
They do have a daughter after all. Emme as far as I'm concerned I don't think Christian and Kimber should
go down that road again. it just does not work out for them! So I think he'll end up with someone else

#1 Julian Fan I'm just curious do u have some kind grudge against the Kimber character? I'll admit that during season 5 she was more bitchy than usual and I have a feeling she won't be like that for long and I doubt she will keep on doing porn cause eventually Kimber and Ram will break up, Kimber gets her own place so she can a single mom. I don't think Christian would marry Darlene because he only loves and cares for her as the mother of his daughter, but he isn't in love with her. Since we all know Christian can be shallow I don't think he would want to settle down w/ someone who is diabetic in a wheelchair and has no legs. For example: remember at first Christian was so protected of Natasha and started falling for her but then he grew tired of having to take care of her disability of being blind. |

Francesca, I don't have a grudge against Kimber however like I said I don't think they should go down that path again!
I mean they cannot walk down the aisle because Christian cannot do that anymore! And don't ask anymore questions
because I won't play this game anymore either! He will not go back to Kimber again because it's like she told him in
Season 4! He's not good for her and also Ryan Murphy said this show is not about happy endings!

Escobar wouldn't do that. Even the mental projection wouldn't. The whole idea behind Escobar's character is he appears to Sean, encouraging him to be a man and Sean comes to the decision of whats right or wrong. What would Escobar be smiling at him saying that? He's proud of him for moving back to miami? Sorry, not to sound rude, I like most of your ideas but thats way too "Nightmare on Elm Street 3 ending" for me. |

I acknowledge that this show is not about happy endings. However, having rooted for these screwed-up, unlucky characters, who with all their flaws still remain largely endearing, I, for one, DO hope that the final episode will portray at the very least, some sort of peaceable resolution. (C, J, & S emotionally hugging right before Julia gets on a plane with Annie & Connor, then the two guys leaving the airport with arms around each other..."Well, Sean, I guess it just comes down to you and me, again. C'mon, let's go get a beer." "O.K., Brother. But this time, YOU'RE paying."
Maybe Ollie (?) can be shown giving Liz a bouquet of flowers. "God, Liz, you look so pretty. I can't believe that what I'd been looking for was right in front of me all this time..."
Matt could be shown at his college (or even, junior college graduation), throwing his cap into the air triumphantly.
Kimber gets her very first legitimate, non-pornographic film role in Hollywood, and she is depicted at a premiere with fans cheering in the background.

What if they do what was done for Seinfeld? A montage of many of the best lines and scenes for an entire two hour special.... ending with a few scenes from Conor's "future" episode. Would that work?

Because there is still so much more to tell! I don't know but it cannot end this way!
(I mean I know that when Laverne and Shirley did the show without Cindy Williams A.K.A Shirley it was not the same!)
But anyway we will have to wait and see what Ryan and the other writers have in store!

about her. and Certainly not Kimber No way! But this is how the last episode should be Christian in a 3-way with Sandra
Bullock and Kate Hudson! I know that sounds crazy but come on! Either one of those Actresses would do or maybe both!
after all Sandra did star opposite Julian in "Premonition." Anyway it was just a thought!
Christian and Sean can both turn these women into human Barbie Dolls! I mean after all it can be done again!

I still can't believe one is short and the other was tall!
But do you remember their names I think they were russian or something!
And the girl who played Jan Brady in the Brady Bunch Movie was in the
Episode too! I think her Name is Jennifer Elise Anyway she was good too!
And I liked the family photo too!
And I also like to watch the scene between Christian and Julia where they are
in his apartment! You know the extra bonus scene that was not in the episode!

I know this is going to sound crazy, but what if the show ends with a reverse ending!
You know Christian is the star of his own show and Sean was in Christian's Shadow again-
I meant Christian became the Hollywood Star instead of Sean I mean that's the way it should
have been in the first place! Then Kimber and Colleen would not have treated Christian the
way they did! Anyway this was Sean's time in the Spotlight, but Christian did say in the season
finale that he was taking acting classes and going to acting school so hey you can never be to
sure! But I don't think Kimber is going to dump Ram and go back to Christian- Forget it I mean
once again they have been there done that! Christian won't end up with anyone cause like I said
he is a playboy in the future! I cannot wait to see what the next remaining eight episodes have
in store for all of us!
Now can anyone please tell me, when does season 6 start I mean is it in September or October?
Because I know the Re-Runs begin July! That's how it was last summer!
But they began with Season 2, 3 and 4! Maybe this time they'll start off with 3, 4 and 5! Who Knows

Now there is just one thing I want to know Foxfield? It is going to be every Saturday right because
I live in the East Coast and I don't want to be mad if it's not on! So just to be safe I will check

#1... as far as I know, FX will run all 14 eps... My listings are showing for this Sat and next (the 5th and the 12th), but I would always double check just in case... Sometimes shows are listed up until just before they're supposed to air and then suddenly they're gone..
and doesn't hurt to have the vcr or dvr set.. you can always delete later.. |

for letting me know foxfield! By the way do you know anything about a Actors Strike that's
supposed to happen in June someone wrote in one of the threads! I have not heard anything
about but I was wondering if you know! Anyway I will Record the episodes that I missed from

I have an idea, they should have a shotgun wedding where Christian marries Dawn
or they have a gay wedding where Christian and Sean marry each other!
Yeah I know bad idea- but it was just a suggestion! Or maybe they could have an
episode where Christian sleeps with the photographer who did his playgirl photo/shoot!
cause I like that woman she was good! Anyway I thought that Lauren Hutton was going
to be on for several episodes in season 5! But she was only in two episodes!
that's it she should've done more! I like that term "Champagne/Cups." referring to her breasts! I'm like wow!
I hope that when I'm 64 that I have well- that's not important! You know once again Christian and Kimber
don't have future together- forget about it! Unless she gets amnesia too and he does the same thing that Sean
did with Julia! I don't know what's going to happen but I hope it's a good one without any fear so to speak!

Once again, I don't think Christian and Kimber will end up together,
because they are constantly at each other's throats and they hate each other's guts so to speak.
It'll never work out between them. I don't care what Kelly Carlson said in that interview

OK, Sean probably does, too, but I doubt that Julia's amnesia is going over well with Matt, Annie & Conor. ("Mom doesn't even recognize us.") |
