wow what an episode! that agent of sean's is a nut job....and Ainge's are nuts! wow, andthat teacher! I cant believe what I am watching! I think this is the best episode yet!

ok, WTF? Anyone remember how awesome season one and two were? Now this fucked up shit? I mean, stuffing the agent with...stuffing? REALLY. It just amazes me how far and "weird" nip/tuck will go. Don't get me wrong, I'll always watch. I mean if they can dump a body in the swamp in the first episode, then I guess they can do anything! lol |

I cannot believe this, I mean the teacher of Wilber's School telling Christian that Wilber bit another student and she thought
that she could get away with it by getting her teeth capped, and she bit Christian on the neck
well he had every reason to call her a vampire. I can't believe that woman, However I liked the connection that
Christian made with Wilber. Oh and by the way there are 3 episodes left! Just so you know!  |

There are some sick puppies in this eppy...and I ain't talkin' about Wilbur's.
Loved the patient and his wife though. Old nip/tuck style. The actress playing the wife was astounding.
Too far fetched for me was the disgraceful funeral for Gina (except for the AIDS man) and that death by stuffing. That was definitely jumping the shark.
Very good episode overall though. |

I thought this was a good episode. Maybe the crazy agent lady will turn out to be some sort of serial killer, like the Carver. Yeah, I thought Gina's funeral was a bit "over the top" too! Only 3 eppies left? Didn't I read that there would be more later this year? Does anyone know? It is too soon for this season to end. It's just getting good and there are so many storylines to tie up.  |

Ok,
I can handle the strange surgeries, the reasons behind them, and how real they look, but duct-taping a human being to a chair and stuffing them like a bird with a gigantic vacuum hose?
I'm not complaining, I'd give it a 9 on the disturbing factor, but c'mon.
I have watched this show long enough to expect shocking things, but I just fail to see the point of this. In the Season 3 finale, Cherry got her penis cut off in a very climatic way, but there was a sense of it being poetic; she was saving Matt.
Now, compare tonight's scene with that and I'm left wondering: where's the poetic quality? It's got definite shock factor, but that's about it. Jumping the shark, definitely. I had to look away when they showed him all bug-eyed like a stuffed bear... |

Well my worst fears came to fruition tonite. I had 3 vcr's set to tape different shows including NIP/TUCK! I got home at 10:03, cable dead, internet dead, (my cable company provides my ISP) We had extremely high winds and severe storms. Cable just came back at 3AM. I saw nothing. Now I have to wait until Friday. |

Dude, I'm sorry, I love nip/tuck, but tonights episode went over the line for me. That scene where coleene killed that other agent was just so creepy and horrible. I like saw, I like movies like that, but that just creeped me out. I don't know who gave that the go ahead, but that stepped over the line for me... |

Yeah. This was just ridiculous for me. Just ridiculous. The parts with Colleen are just idiotic. She annoyed me and it was just way too over the top. Also - so the new CAA agent guy - he traveled with an entourage, etc. So you can't tell me that no one at this agency knew he was going over to Colleen's? A little weird.
The only funny part was when I saw her bring out the stuffing machine and I leaned over to my husband and said "wow - she's going to build-a-bear his ass"
The patient story line was actually pretty good - but I don't think they did it enough justice.
The funeral scene was horrible (except for the aids guy).
Where's Kimber? Where's Matt? Where's Julia? Tired of these dropped storylines.
Honestly, I'm not so sure how much longer I'm going to be making N/T a regular, "must see" part of my week. Some of this is just stupid. |

First off....I'm glad to see that these last few episodes have sparked some new interest in posting on the forum.

Well, judging by the infection that set in on Kyle, it's safe to say that those "gouges" didn't happen the way they explained it to Christian and Sean. She actually bit into his arm to save herself. As distasteful (no pun) as that sounds, her guilt was worse. Sad story
Gina's eulogies were apropos for the life that she lead. As I watched Christian tear up, I wondered if he was crying as much for himself as he was crying for the loss of his son's mother. He and Gina were of the same irk in many ways, it may have given him a little insight as to what his own eulogy would sound like. Although I got a few laughs, especially ...."I like to refer to it as the "Gina-Spot" ("G-spot".. lol),.... the quote I will remember most is the one that Christian made to her in private...
"Of all the times that I wanted to kill you, this wasn't one of them". It was Christian's "Mrs. Grubman" moment. Right, NTL? <warm smile>
Anyay, I'm happy to know that her death was entirely accidental. I'll miss that little she-devil.
Gina, RIP.
Colleen Rose!!! Holy shit! Well, we know now that she's an imposter. She didn't know the CAA , the biggest agency in Hollywood? A bear maker? Yikes! Passing that cute little store at the mall will never be the same for me! LOL
That whole scene with her and the agent, well, she could have given Kathy Bates a run for her money in "Misery"... outstanding acting! Pushing in those little button eyes, she actually scared me..for real! I wasn't a Cagney and Lacey watcher, so now I'm considering myself an instant fan of hers. She's an awesome actress. |

The cannibal couple were twisted enough to be reminiscent of the weird patient cases of seasons past. Colleen killing the other agent with a giant bear-stuffing machine she hides in her bedroom would have been fun in a horror movie, but went over the top for a drama series–I just couldn’t believe it. I know she’s a psycho, but I’m not feeling the suspense the same way I did with the Carver. As for Sean, that poor guy is a psycho magnet.
All those people telling sex stories about Gina was kind of a disappointment for her funeral, and seems again more like a choice that would work in a comedy, not a drama. The last guy’s story was moving, and seems like it could have been really powerful if only a few people showed up and his story was the only eulogy.

Rats! I forgot to mention this story line. It was the only real disappointment, for me. I am in total agreement with you Candy, I wish they would have scrapped that story line. I'd rather have watched a few extrs commercials....and I hate commercials!
Poor taste...very poor taste.

I agree. I can't put my finger on it, but there is a difference. The stories before were very jaw dropping, but believable because of good acting, a fantastic flow and they didn't mix slap stick comedy in it. It seems more like a trashy sitcom/soap now.
They used to have subtle, sophisticated and intelligent humor on Nip/Tuck. Now, at times, its a freak show with campy comedy.
I disagree about the teacher storyline though being 'over the line'. My reasoning is they had a nanny drugging children (including Wilbur). |

Can someone please give a brief synopsis of last night's eppy? I'll catch it on Friday but I'm a NT addict so I need something to hold me over until then. How was the whole Gina death explained? |

It's definitely not A.I.D.S., because Christian recently tested H.I.V.-negative. It was the poisoned fruitcake (I've always hated the stuff, myself.).
#2-why did kimber have matt's baby but decide to torture him by being a coked out ho?
Kimber never *really* loved Matt (or so she said); she just allowed herself to get pregnant and married Matt to somehow spite Christian. As for the drugs, it was meth, not coke. Both Kimber & Matt had had substance abuse (pot, cocaine, alcohol) in past eppys, and we were never told who got whom addicted to meth. Finally, I suppose, "once a ho, always a ho."
#3-where the hell is that cute little daughter annie??
Zoey, you *must* be new to the show, because we "old timers" found very long ago that the Annie character often disappears for several eppys w/out explanation. My guess is that it has something to do with the real-life actress, Kelsey Lynn Batelaan, and child labour laws.
#4-why did matt blow himself up in a meth lab?
Do you actually think Matt would have done that ON PURPOSE??? Kimber and Matt had taken some sort of medication geared toward suppressing cravings. When Kimber told Matt she was breaking up with him, though, Matt lost his resolve to stay clean and went back on the drugs in an attempt to quell the sorrow. It was a horrific accident.

C, J, & S don't hate each other (at least, not at this point). C & S had been living together in L.A. while getting their relocated practice off the ground, and Julia just "showed up" on their doorstep to flaunt her newest lover, Olivia. As far as I know, Julia still lives with Oli yet spends most of her time at Christian's place, indulging her fantasies of her college days. in other words, she's being unfaithful to her lesbian g/f.

it appears she is NOT a real agent; she was simply posing as one. As for the stuffing, or even her penchant for making stuffed bears, God only knows why...

thank you for all the help guys. i was truly an avid nt fan until the end of season 2. somewhere between full-time work, full time school, a bitchy boyfriend, and babysitting my nieces, i missed like the last 3 seasons. so sorry for the inconvenience...i promise to get updated again sooooon...im most likely gunna go buy the 3 season dvd set so i can catch up...i miss hearing "tell me what you don't like about yourself?"

I personally loved this episode. It reminds me Nip/Tuck of old. Hard to believe people would think Nip/Tuck would step over the line. Nip/Tuck created the line and keeps pushing it out further. They have come up with pretty sick and twisted ways for people to die or plot lines. Like the guy that took different woman's body parts to construct a body for his sister's head.
They explained how they became meth heads. Kimber was trying to lose weight after the baby and a friend told her that taking some meth would help lose the weight. It worked but then they couldn't get off the stuff and then they ended up how they did.
Matt ended up blowing himself up because Kimber had left him after Christian gave her some surgery in exchange for her leaving Matt. Matt was distraught and then tried to make some meth at home and had an accident.
As a previous poster said, they hardly ever show Annie unless she is part of the story line. Besides, isn't she at some private school with Eden? So she isn't exactly around the house right now. The one to wonder about is Connor, their son. |

So - the more I think about it, I really think they should have taken the storyline with Colleen and the "stuffing" in a different direction. I think it could have been "plausible" if they would have played it a little more like the short story "The Landlady" (Roald Dahl). Essentially, the agent would have ended up actually "stuffed" like as in taxadermy. I think that would have been more plausible.
So true Candy - everything is too freaking cartoonish now. The thing I liked about N/T before is that it was all crossing the line and pushing boundries, but just enough so that it all seemed like in some reality it could happen. I'm so far removed now when I watch it that, as NTL said, its pretty much turned into a campy version of itself. Now I feel like they are making up stories to create the shock factor, rather than actually thinking about the storyline/plot development. Also - I've felt like they are completely rushing what could be really good storylines with lots of character development. They really rushed Matt/Kimber/drugs. They rushed Sean with Kate. Rushed Gina's comeback/exit. Why can't we drop the camp and stick to what could be really great plots.
I really could take it or leave it at this point. In fact, I really feel like the only reason why I'm watching it now is so I can come back to this board and know what the heck you're all talking about! Really. Otherwise, I'd drop this show like a bad habit. It's jumped the shark and is no where near the show that I fell in love with. |

Wow....weird show and I kinda feel dirty from watching it! haha ok heres what i think...
about the teacher, well maybe the biting was something she made up to get Christian in the sack...I mean it wouldn't surprise me really. Maybe shes a little freaky, has the whole vampire thing going on the side and used the idea of telling Christian, who I'm SURE is the hottest parent there, Wilbur was biting knowing that Christian might try to work out a "deal" to keep Wlbur there. We didn't see any bite marks on the kids. (this all made sense in my head but I'm sure it looks like rambling nonsense...sorry!)
We really do not have to see forced sex scenes with Christian every week....it's getting annoying. Don't get me wrong, we all know he's hot and we don't mind watching those crazy romps of his, but every epi???
Colleen, yeah totally reminded me of Misery...CREEPY. I was a little disturbed with the stuffing and the beady eyeballs. I really was yelling at Sean to pleeeeaaasssee tell her to leave, don't listen to her!! but I do like the nickname she gave him.."Cookie", he does look cute as a cookie doesn't he?
Gina's funeral was a little over the top, but man didn't Chrisitian look so good sitting there?! I really want the issue of Christian being with Gina to be addressed, the irresponsibility on his part having sex with her, knowing the risks and of course there is the point someone else brought up that Gina could have easily poked holes in that condom. Is it just me or did it look like he totally didn't have enough time to put one on??!!!
What the heck is going on in next weeks epi, see the commercial for it?? Wow, looks good!
Fave line was from Sean..."It's Hammertime!" haahh so wrong but oh so funny. |

That, and for Sean. I don't mean to disregard the other characters, but they're all so far out in left field now that the only one I feel any remote sympathy for/interest in is Sean. I love DW as an actor, and will stick with it as long as he's there.
I guess they wanted to try something different, a new direction with the show. It probably works for some viewers, just not all of us. How are the ratings this season, anyhow? I know they started really strong. I'm curious if the viewers who aren't talking about it on forums are enjoying the new feel to the show. Maybe if you're not as invested in the characters or the past storylines, you shift gears more easily? <shrug> |

All I can say is, I loved Christian in this episode: Loved his scenes with Wilbur. His imaginary
conversation with the kid was hilarious. "I screwed her off the balcony", and "Mommy's
a skank" made me giggle.
I thought it was so sweet and caring of Christian to give Wilbur the puppy!! Aw!!
The rest of the episode made me roll my eyes.
The Colleen is a wacko I could totally see coming, and her stuffing the man with stuffing
was just stupid. Something thrown in there to be called "shocking".
The kindergarten tearcher was totally out there. Of course we all knew she was the
culprit of the biting.
And what the hell was with Chrisitian tipping his hand to her so she went to get her teeth
capped in the first place?
Where was the saavy Chrisitan of S1 who played Silvio Perez?
I wonder if the psycho knows that Christian was exposed to HIV when she bit him and drew
blood?!
I wish this show would stop relying on the "shock moments" the "twisted moments"
and get back to the emotion and substance beyond the surface.
My gut feeling is that the show has changed, been changing for a while. It seems
as though they are taking the easy way: slapstick humor instead of clever humor,
relying on shocks just to be shocking, charcters that have no depth instead of the
multi layered characters they used to be. |

funeral? In S2 Gina said her mother lived in Gainsville.
Also, did I hear that the male patient developed toxoplasmosis? Toxoplasmosis
is something a pregnant woman gets from changing kitty litter--it harms the fetus. |

I want so bad to respect the show like I used to. It's definitely the writing that is bothering me.
The actors are superb. The set decoration is perfect. The music is awesome. Editing, ect...right on target. It's that damn unbelievable shock value that is messing with me.
I'm not talking about how wicked the show can get, that I love. The darker the better (Dexter fan ya know). It's not the grungy sex stuff either, that I love too.It's not the bizarre things they deal with either, ie cocaine hidden in huge boobs, man that wants leg cut off, lady with stigmata, petrified baby in womb, that stuff is what Nip/Tuck is all about.
But...Grandma screwing like energizer bunny, alien implants, carolers that sing all day in the surgeons office, Dawn Budge's eagle attack & motorcycle attack (after an ear jacking), build a bear death...all mixed in with a comedic tone...leaves me rolling my eyes. The show should have never become a parody of itself. In theory, it may have been a cool idea, but its fast becoming a joke. And I ain't laughing.
If I didn't love the characters so much, I really wouldn't go out of my way to watch it. |

I'd like to add that I'm not anti comedy. I'm probably the only one that really loved Plastic Fantastic. The show was committed to it, went for it, it was creative and bold, but it was also in its correct place and time. It was a designated show for silliness. It didn't disrupt the flow of the theme or emotions of the viewer. For me, when the show jumps around from the dramatic, tragic to slap stick comedy, I get detached. It's like waking me up from a good sleep abruptly. It messes with my rhythm...I hate that. |

Yes, I agree with you, Nip/Tuck Lover. To me, I don't really understand
just what was wrong with the humor the way it had been in past seasons:
The humor didn't have to be so in your face.
The lawyer scene in Rose and Raven Rosenberg for example was hilarious--just in the way of
it's flow and momentum.
When you heard the character's name of Mrs. Grubman, you knew just what she was
and couldn't help but chuckle.
Christian and Liz's quips and zingers were smart, dead on and witty.
Some of the best humor was in the banter between the characters.
In this season it seems like it's all toilet humor, or parody, or like
it's just trying too hard to be funny. |

Hubby wanted to watch last weeks eppy tonight, he had missed it. Of course I rewatched with him. I noticed something that I thought was meaningless the first time around but now I think was a nice touch. Colleen's purse in that eppy was a jewel'd teddy bear. >ntl shivers<
I still have my teddy bear (named Theodore) from my childhood...all nestled away in my linen closet. I love him dearly, but I must thank heaven above that my obsession was chocolate and not bears. Colleen is a freak! I gotta give props to Sharon Gless, she owns that role. She kinda reminds me of James from last season. I know we are supposed to dislike and fear her, but she is too mesmerizing. I find myself watching every move she makes and every word she says. I never watched Cagney and Lacey, I guess it was my loss. |

Stuffed agent? Why in the world did he go to Colleen's apt anyway? And alone? So he was taped to the chair--you'd think he could have just rolled it over or something. That was some enormous/expensive machine.
Ok, the schoolteacher. Was any of that plausible? The schoolmarm so lusting after little Wilbur's Daddy? Hard to believe that even Christian would allow her to use him just to keep the kid in that school. Who dreamed up that nonsense?
The funeral? No way they would have found all those people to blab all that stuff about the dear departed. Gina hasn't been in L.A. that long--did they fly in a special plane from Miami?
Yeah, the cannibal bride was more like the good old N/T. The rest of the show was just thrown-together CRAP.
The only saving bits were Christian with Wilbur (but now he's having delusions, too).
No wonder Julian looks bored lately. |

Hello everyone, new and old. I just got done reading the whole thread and would like to add some thoughts.
Christian goes to the morgue to see Gina and sees that her whole one side is messed up, while the lady is trying to reconstruct her. Now how could her WHOLE DAMN HEAD not be busted up or infact her neck broken totally and back of head damaged and flatned. He could have taken bones from her fingers fer all we cared and fixed her face, in fact for a split second there i thought he was gonna pick up some instruments and start working on her out of respect for LIFE ITSELF and her being wilburs mom.
(note to catwoman, no sex on top of tall buildings with husband)
HOW IN THE HELL DO YOU GET A STUFFING MACHINE? buy it off ebay? work for Build a bear? Rent one? geez laughed my ass off when the hose came out... loved that silly scene.
Um now this woman is smart, i will call her THE STUFFER and she took his phone/dash blackberry and sent that message herself to sean saying the CAA agent took off to do relief work. Shes wacko but most wack jobs are smart.
I would have started to eat myself instead of my husband if i was that hungry dont cha think?? i mean if shes a canaibil really does it matter where the meat comes from?? great acting on her part.

This episode is just another reason why I love Christian Troy. He can be a total harda**, but instantly become the best father in the world. It doesn't hurt that he is drop dead gorgeous. I so want to marry this man. |

Totally agree. And they must have overstocked on that stage vomit and had to use it up with the cannibal woman barfing in the wastebasket, since Julia had the week off. Humor is great, but the dark humor, and the subtle humor--that took some awesome skill to craft and weave through the plotlines and dialogue, and that's what I miss (a hint of that sick but wonderful humor was in the "I Eat Cannibals" song choice, and "Hammertime"). I mean, I do watch Family Guy on Tuesday nights, too, and love it as one of my guilty pleasures, but I'd prefer to encounter a change in humor styles when I switch to Nip/Tuck. On a few occasions this season, Family Guy has had the higher ground. <LOL> |

To lenin: yes I remember how awesome season one and two were.
I completely agree with lenin, rock hater and everyone else who think that this last episode was too much. I use to love the show, but now I’m not sure what I think about it. I still love the characters and care about what happens to them, but I´m really disappointed about the direction the show is taking. In my opinion this whole season is shit with the exception of a few scenes. For instance I loved the scene where Julia is sick, laying in the bad with Sean and Christian comes home
Christian to Sean; "You don't have a ring anymore, so just leave." This scene was a S1/S2 type of scene.
I wouldn’t be surprised if many of the "old-timers" like me would completely lose interest in the show. I´m still hanging in there but not sure for how long. I miss the old Nip Tuck and I want it back. I’m really getting sick and tired of all the freaks and the horror shows. I don’t know how much more of this crap I can take, before I throw in the tower and stop watching the show all together.

OMG that was an awesome episode! Sharon Gless is so freaking amazing! I had a feeling that Colleen was either 1) really was an agent on really hard times - I kinda thought maybe that house Sean dropped her off at had previous been hers that she had to sell or 2) that she was a fake. And right when she called CAA, 'caw', we all freaking knew it! Why didn't Sean drop her right then? Did he just feel sorry for her?

I think Gina knew a lot of people in a lot of different cities, not just Miami. (The kind that only feel bad about someone until after they're dead.) The guy that gave Gina AIDS was awesome though.

So I watched this episode and I must say that it was definitely different.It was probably one of the weirdest and most outrageous episodes that Nip/Tuck has ever provided us with.They brought in an accumulation of extremely weird characters.I thought that was definitely something different.The cannibal couple,the biter and the teddy bear agent.I thought this episode was pretty good however I have to agree that it didn't have enough realism.As someone else pointed out,the thing I've always loved about Nip/Tuck is that as outrageous as certain characters appeared to be,they always remained realistic.You could actually understand their perspective and feel sympathy at times(aka Ava).In this episode,I felt that these characters were almost cartoonish,specifically our nutjob Colleen.There is nothing normal about her and her actions cannot be justified.She's just a crazy,obsessed lady who wants to be recognized as Sean's agent.When I see her,all I feel is creeped out.That's honestly it.I don't find her to be an interesting character.I honestly would like to see her in a mental institute.That's the only thing I can say.I will get to that later on.Let me start by mentioning the cannibal couple.
I know that we didn't see them eacting each other's flesh(THANK GOD)but just the whole idea really disgusted me.When I saw them talking about what happened,I pictured the whole scenario in my mind and it really disgusted me.I guess I can understand why the husband provided his flesh to his wife.He didn't want to lose her and she was really hungry so ok that could work.Still nasty obviously.But her providing him with her flesh to take away her guilt and save him with their love was really stupid.As Sean pointed out,the human flesh is contaminated.It is not to be eaten.Why in the world would you feed your flesh to your husband?It was just stupid on her part.But anyway,this is Nip/Tuck and it's not the first time they have these strange patients coming in.
The biter was extremely weird.I can't believe that she accused Wilbur of biting those students to save her ass.Argh what a terrible person.And I'm surprised that the kids didn't complain about the biting to their parents.I guess she might have pretended that she was playing with them and that it was all a game when in reality she wanted their blood.I've heard of these kind of people before.They believe that they are vampires so they go around biting people.BLOOD isn't good for the human body either but anyway people still do it.And wow she got her teeths capped in the end.Grrrr!I wouldn't want this psycho running around my city.Who knows who her next target will be.I hope we don't have to see her again.She is beyond weird.
Colleen Rose is definitely the weirdest and most psychotic character that Nip/Tuck has ever had.That whole stuffing scene didn't gross me out however it did creep me out.I won't lie about that.A teddy bear is supposed to be innocent but she sure did ruin its image now!She is a fake agent who is obsessed with Sean,we can obviously see that but the thing is...SO WHAT!?She just randomly showed up following Sean and claimed to be an agent.Good for you!She doesn't interest me at all.Whenever she shows up on my tv screen,I hope that Sean will tell her to screw off so that we don't have to see her anymore.What happened to the villains that actually made sense?SHE DOESN'T!She just creeps me out.Even Eden is a more interesting villain than she is.I would have preferred if they would have let Eden evolve.She was influencing Annie and then bang...that was done with which sucked because it was interesting.And two episodes later she slept with Sean and that was over with too.I was hoping she'd fall in love with Sean or something.And now Eden too is tossed aside and we have to watch this Colleen woman evolve into a psychopath.I'm not really enjoying her presence.I was hoping they'd focus more on Matt trying to get Jenna back,Julia telling Olivia about Christian and Gina spending time with Wilbur before she died so that her death would have had more of an impact on the viewers.But no,they had to add this stupid agent into the picture who is taking over everyone else's storyline.I was hoping they wouldn't make the mistake of adding a bunch of characters and storylines into the mix again which don't flow but unfortunately they did it again.And it really sucks! Mind you,I still like this show.I really liked season 5 until episode 8.After that,I don't know...I'm indecisive about it...
Gina's funeral was my favourite part of this episode.It was really silly at first but then the man who gave her aids spoke and I found his speech so beautiful.It made me really miss Gina actually.It's too bad that they got rid of her.They could of had done more with her if they wanted to but oh well,she's gone now.
Another reason I liked this episode was because of WILBUR!!Awww he is so adorable.This kid should be in more episodes.Every time he spoke,I just wanted to hug him.Whenever he'd say,where's mommy or when's mommy coming back?I'd get sad especially because Christian would start crying.I love the father/son relationship that Christian and Wilbur have.Christian shows his real emotions and soft side when Wilbur is around.And I absolutely love that!!!Whenever Christian would start getting teary,I'd be like noooooo!Ahh what a good actor!!And Christian buying the dog for Wilbur was sooooooo sweet!!I really liked that scene when he's like "when you miss mommy,play with the dog and you'll feel better" and then he tells Wilbur that Gina's never coming back.Good going Christian!!!
FINALLY,this whole Hearts and Scapels thing is starting to annoy me.I can't take this idea of Sean being an actor anymore.I hope that he quits soon! |

I think the capping of the teacher's teeth to escape the situation was way too simplistic. Doesn't she have dental records? Couldn't they just have gotten them from her dentist and proved she was the biter? That was stupid.
Otherwise the tone of the show is what it's always been, silly and over-the-top with crazy storylines that amaze, titillate, entertain, and are depressing.
I find it amusing that this ep is the *one* that people feel has stepped over the line. Compared to the rest of the show, it's fully in line with the storylines they've used in the past.
I actually thought this ep was one of the darker and more morbid eps in the entire series...and I loved it. The scene at the funeral was hilarious, and was written exactly the right way.
The show pokes fun at things that people take seriously, and then takes seriously things people make fun of.

Bliss works for Fiona. She got them the gig with Fantastic Plastic. At the end of that episode once the boys saw how bad the show was they went to see Bliss to fire her and Fiona's agency. Bliss explained that the show did not test well so it would not be released.
She then told the boys once some of it hit youtube they were going to need Fiona's agency to help with the publicity from it.
I don't think she is considered an agent, just a publicist who gets them out there, although I am not sure I know the difference.
But I do not think they ever ended up firing Fiona or her agency. |

Well when I got home last nite I finally got to watch the episode on tape but it flipped a lot. I believe the whole box of tapes I bought are no good. I've seen it do the flipping before when I watched previously taped stuff. I guess I need to get DVR but how do you save that???? I mean can it be lost?? How do you have a hard copy?? |

You need to get a dvd "recorder" not just a dvd player... you can connect directly like you would a vcr and record to the dvd (one time only, you can't erase and re-record) or you can get a dvr, record to the hard drive then record from there to the dvd (that way you can get rid of the commercials).. Once you "finalize" the dvd in the recorder, you should be able to play in any dvd player, not just the one you made the disc in..
You can get stand alone dvd recorder/players or combo dvd recorder/vcr (you can't use the type of recorder you'd use in a computer)... If you get a combo unit, then you still have use of your old tapes, plus you can dup them over to dvd's (since vhs tapes eventually break down).. |

I watched this episode again and paid extra attention to the background in Colleen's apt and looked at the bears and it seems that they ARE her victims: there was a nurse and many others and now the agent will be added. She very well may be using the bodies to help stuff the bears but I would wonder about the smell. As far as the big stuffing machine-this woman is obvious great at lying so she could have said that she was a manufacture rep for a toy company and needed one.
Another possibility may have something to do with where she lives...Korea town (I think that was what he said). She mentioned how it was good for cheap veggies. This was mentioned for a reason I'm sure.Hmmm....
Oh and watching again knowing that Sharon played Annie made me REALLY see it!
Ok-I am watching it right now and have paused it on the shot of all of the bears: I see an army, one, nurse,wrestler or spa (had a robe with a hood on so could be either one) and I see another surgeon. The others have dresses on and don't look like they are supposed to be an occupational bear. But if she is just killing people they could be them.

Also, after watching again tonight, is it possible that they could have edited that scene after the original airing of the episode? I seem to remember the part when she squishes in the button eyes being much more graphic. Tonight it appears as if it was edited. Did anyone else watch tonight? Did you notice any difference? |

Bignip - If they did go back and edit that scene, after the ep had aired, then they are spineless wimps. They should have edited the scene before the episode aired. |

Biggie, what I saw was when he died she closed his eyes. Then later when she was putting the bluetooth on his ear they were popped out and blood running from them. I didn't really see her put button eyes on him. |

Oh, 9...not only did she push them into his eyes, you could hear the "squish" when she did it...along with the running blood that loving mentions. It was pretty graphic. Last night I saw more of the back of Colleen as she "motions" to do it...no "squish". It must have been the network that edited it, because I can't imagine that RM and Company would do that at this stage of the game, you know?
Anyway, I was much more scared and creeped out on Tuesday. No that Colleen doesn't still effect me...because she does!!!! Sharon Gless rocks...in a huge way!!! |

So since my cable was out from 9pm - 3am I wouldn't have even seen it at the second showing at 11:03 cause it was only shown in the first, well this was the very first time cable went out during Nip/Tuck cause of weather and it was always my worst fear. And of course they changed it, wouldn't ya know it. |

I'm not really sure weather was the cable problem because electric was out in millions of homes but not mine but when I did come home I saw a bunch of police cruisers lights flashing down the street which usually means an accident and they may have hit a transformer pole and cause the outage. Usually weather is the problem for satellite. |

Hi there everyone!
I just thought I'd mention some things that were bothering me continutity/
storyline wise since this episode has aired again.
Exactly when the hell did Gina and Wilbur get this great relationship from? He had
been asking for "mommy."
WTF?
The last time we saw Gina with Wilbur was when She kidnapped him! Chrisitian
was frantic to get the kid back
Now we are supposed to believe since everyone moved to LA that all is forgiven there?
Come on!
And what about the judges order of S2? Where the judge granted custody of Wilbur to
the Sutherland's in the first place because she feared for his life and safety if he were
with Gina.
What about that?
A move to LA doesn't trump these screwy continuity issues either.
That storyline seemed as if it was written purely for plot purposes that
didn't make any sense with the history of the characters.
Did anyone else notice this?
Also--I found it really screwy that Wilbur had more dialogue than
Annie did.
I just shook my head at that one. |
