Let me say that when I write my reviews, it is always right after watching the episode. I like the episode fresh in my mind and I write what I think, yes even if it is bluntly honest. Most of the time, I usually flip through the recording and re-examine some of the scenes as I write. Yes, I am a fan of the show, otherwise I wouldnt spend my time and $ running a website dedicated to "Nip/Tuck." I love a good discussion with other "Nip/Tuck" fans and I'm open to all sides of conversation, good or bad...Lay it on me!

Christian relives his Carver attack and has problems getting back to work so the Atlantan Dr. Quentin Costa partners up at McNamara & Troy. Sean gets divource papers from Julia, while their son Matt tries to deal with his sexual identity after discovering Ava had surgery before she left. A body is found and the cops are brought in to find out where Ava is...Kimber returns to a different Christian. Pssst...do NOT miss the last 10 minutes!!!

Matt gets his face fixed, starts taking drugs prescribed by Christian and starts acting defensively towards his parents. Both Sean and Julia get together to discipline Matt, but Sean ends up physically hurting Matt.
Meanwhile, Christian and Quentin visit a frathouse and undo the glue binding two faces to an ass. Kit McGraw invites Quentin to join their threesome, but Christian gets jealous of Kimber being with others. Quentin makes a touchy mistake in bed...and we find out his sexuality.

An aged wife wants surgery to make herself look younger, the same face her Alzheimer-stricken husband remembers. Sean performs the surgery on Mrs. Hartness [?], while Christian and Dr. Quentin Costa work on a Rhea Reynolds, a supposed Carver victim, who claims her carving is a miracle.
Matt files a restraining order against his father, Sean. Matt ends up living with Julia, while Sean gets investigated by social workers who later interrogate Annie. Christian feels phantom anal pain and has his best friend, Sean check up on him. Christian confronts Rhea Reynolds on her lies, and tries to feel the pain he's been hiding after his Carver incident. Meanwhile, Liz might be under investigation for not anesthesizing correctly on Reynolds.
Sean tries to deal with his emotional pain, physically. Christian volunteers to be anesthesized by Liz. Rhea Reynolds is given a suprise visit by The Carver.

Rhea Reynolds is found dead, apparently murdered by the carver. This episode's patient is a man with a very hollow face, caused by the HIV medication he's taking. Christian reveals that when he was 12, he stitched parts of dead cats and dogs together.

A detective investigates a Nazi symbol being spraypainted on school lockers. Christian does liposuction on Abby Mays, a woman who dislikes her appearance and is infatuated with Christian Troy. Sean ahd Quentin work on a soldier undergoing removal of scrapnel shards.
While checking up on the soldier, Sean discovers that Quentin barebacks the patient. Sean threatens to file suit against Quentin in order to seek revenge on him because Quentin is dating his wife, Julia. Sean tells Julia the truth about Quentin, but she doesn't believe him and they all end up arguing over Matt, who professes his love for Madison Berg [see 3x10].
Christian offers Abby the chance to sleep with him, but only if she wears a bag over her head so he can't see her face. Apparently, they discover, Christian's a sadist and Abby's a masochist. Both make another appointment to sleep together.
Meanwhile, Quentin sells the rest of his partnership deal back to Sean and Christian, thereby ending his career at McNamara/Troy but starting his new career at De La Mer, Julia's spa! Later, Christian reads a letter on his desk, apparently from Kimber. Scenes are shown of her writing the note in a jail-like enclosure, her face cut on both sides and the Carver standing over her. She later screams as the Carver thanks her [for writing the letter].
