nychen [admin's] thoughts4x0309.19.2006 one of the best goddamn intros to the show....ever. wow...spectacularly well done. the whole thing about the cars...sean in a toyota hybrid of sorts, damn those things look fugly. and then that bright orange lambourghini [did i spell that right?!]...at first i thought maybe there was going to be a chase for the tight car spot like in "Fried Green Tomatoes" [funnyass scene], but nope...it was the comparision of sean and christian's life in the choice of their cars. brilliant. then we have liz and linda laughting over christian's ass. mighty fine white ass! why the blatant mention of youtube?! weird...cause FOX, which owns FX, which is part of Warner Brothers/Sony, owns MySpace...so you'd think they'd mention MySpace but then again, they dont share videos. oh, AHAH! whatever. is anyone going to go there and search for a video called 'naughty doctor' and see if an actual "Nip/Tuck" christian sex video exists?!! that would fucking awesome marketing ahead of time...and make sure it has over 6,000 views/impressions! did julia's pregnant belly look like a hugeass breast to anyone else? and a pointy nipple [actually an outie belly button]. yikes...i've never touched a pregnant lady's belly, and well i dont plan to anytime soon, but that thing look hard not soft like i thought skin would be. stretch marks, eeee. thank goodness i'm not planning on having children soon. hmm interviewing nannies...the whole episode is entitled "Monica Wilder" so it wasn't hard to guess what was going to happen, especially if you figured out the nanny [first white girl candidate] was going to be having sex with sean...which was blatantly revealed in the promo for 4x03. gosh after that whole driving the hybrid in the rain and julia so trusting of her husband, sean goes and fucks their potential nanny and ends up fucked over cause she seemed very qualified but had to not accept due to certain indiscretions. why?! why...why must the good guy be ruined? okay so we know sean is flawed, he has a kind heart and it aches for sex with soft broken women, note megan o'hara [breast cancer]...and now monica wilder [sleeping with her bosses...yeah that's a disease we call horny]. i felt a bit of hatred for sean...it was a bit demeaning for both of them, sean's guilt isn't going to fix anything and julia will probably never find out cause christian and nurse linda are the only other two people that know. and i doubt they are going to leak info to julia...who this season has wholly redeemed herself as a character and become soft and lovable and honest and pure and the perfect wife. hmm, a strange turn from the julia we used to know...and yes some fans hated, the supposedly whiney opinionated takechargeofherownlife kind of gal we used to know from season1 to 2 to 3. i guess all that just got erased in the spring and summer of 2006/hiatus. goddamn the writers for that complete ignorance of character growth and development which i loved. julia was a really superb character who i actually liked as well as the before extremelyfaultyhorny sean. hmm maybe in season5, the audience will be brainwashed into forgetting he slept with a nanny and other such non-polite things he'll do in season4. gym...we get some minutes of matt plot and christian almost acting like a father. i dont think the word was even mentioned. not son either. nor scientology, YEAH! but kimber's name was mentioned, although her face was missing. not bad cause i dont think we have time to squeeze her inbetween liz and michelle's plot or we'd have some kind of 3 women/lesbo combo. AHAH!!! joking of course. "not everyone is gay." no shit. but this show sure is turning its focus more on gays...more awareness is good right? besides that comment from liz about "finally" there's more no more sexual harassment, AHAH and then "liz, you're fired" comment was hilarious. back to the gym...good to see everyone's working out. it's probably a contract in the show to work out as much as possible cause you'll end up half naked soon enough! AHAHA!. wow, there was alot of bare ass tonite, christian's, sean's, and yes...mario lopez's. i dont even remember his character's name, he was some kind of plastic surgeon/doctor with a hot bod, and so i lost focus and zoomed in on his fine-formed six-pack abs. oh delicious! no one can fault mario lopez for his body or his wickedly cute dimpled smile. damn boy. and please, check out his even hotter latino body dancing all the way to the finishline on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" Tuesday 8pm/EST and Wednesdays 8pm/EST for the results show. he should win with no problem. back to the gym, that shower scene is steamy isn't it? anyone else wonder why there are no soap bars but soap dispensers? seems like a waste, AHAH! people should bring their own soap, or i guess this is a safety thing learned from prisons...dont want anyone bending over! AHAH! it wasn't as gay a scene was it was meant to be i think, i like how christian was able to keep looking at mario's body and his character wonder why he doesn't have 6pack abs! christian is so selfinvolved, it's hard not to feel bad for someone with low self esteem. okay no not really...ahah!! sean does some kind of nosebump removal on monica wilder to cover his guilt of having sex with her...and well, she used him pretty well too. looks like she sticks around for more romp in the bed [previews of 4x04 show that blatantly]. and now with the sudden sooner-rather-than-later birth of son conor, sean will soon be dealing with julia's upcoming hiring of small man nurse played by the most handsome man in town, peter dinklage. whew, good looking man alert! i love him in CBS's canceled scifi "Threshold" and in the movie "Station Agent." he is a good hire on the show since it looks like in season4, one aspect i am loving, is that creator ryan murphy has upped the reality focus on physical handicaps, er handicapable people and their experiences of living life that way. dinklage, i'm sure was speaking from the heart, when his character said "tiptoe around his condition, i speak from personal experience." another wonderful scene. heartfelt. "don't you think it's important to hold his hand, before you change it?" luckily we'll be seen more of dinklage's male nurse sawyer. can't wait! so cause christian spent his days getting lipo'd around his waist and lovehandles, which he's consistently hated since season1....he missed helping his best friend sean out during julia's pregnancy operation. i forgot the name..but anyone notice a sudden lack of music during the show? during the surgeries? it was quiet. i like that. you can actually think and focus on plot! and there was alot in this episode....the more i write the more i like the episode. we even get 2 scenes with real nurse linda...i think she dyed her hair lighter?! has she gone hollywood?! AHAH! let's not forget the little light bump of sexual harassment between liz and michelle making coffee...i like that she/liz mentioned michelle's mysterious girlfriend. liz is only on probation for her attitude/reveal of secret, so i hope we get to see more fire between them. i have always liked liz's character too...in season1 she was there all the time. then in season2, her role got diminished and then in season3, it was almost like 'wtf is liz' but finally...season4, the focus is back on her. roma mafia rocks. anyone remember her in the "Profiler"? i watched abit. anyhows, i thought when julia was giving birth/having surgery, the focus of the camera on sean when he just kept looking at the baby and not looking at his beautiful wife, wow a great missed moment between them. i'm glad julia grabbed sean's face!!! how tender and sad...that sean is losing attention on his wife and instead focused on the problems of his son...which does indeed have that handicap of the fingers [insert surgical name here]. and the use of a real baby who has that handicap, wow. another impressive move on the show. i liked the scene between sean looking through the glass, and then his other kids annie and matt seeing the baby's hands for the first time. and the reaction of annie, honest and frightened....it was touching. then christian walks in from his afternoon of selfinvolvement lipo...looks through the glass and wonders. good moments like this are hard to come by and finally, in episode 4x03, it's all come together nicely. a really surprising episode that has made season4 more dramatic and riveting.
